life is just humiliating yourself over and over and learning to live with the inherent shame of being alive !! do what makes you happy !! it is impossible to live life without embarrassment, so why bother trying !!
too much self reflection is not a good thing honestly. go outside and plant a garden and then cook yourself a homemade dinner then mop the floors and change your sheets and take a hot shower then you won’t care so much
it's interesting to me that after years of being in star wars fandom, i've come to understand that you can definitely tell that there are people who are more fans of george lucas's star wars, and others that are more fans of dave filoni-esque later takes on star wars. while there is significant overlap, there are also deep and profound differences between the two versions of the story and the galaxy, especially with regard to the jedi order. so there's just so much regrettable and preventable miscommunication between these different parts of the fandom, if people just realized where they were on the spectrum between the two, and accepted that other people can be on other ends of the spectrum without it being a threat.
like sometimes i just want to put up a disclaimer under my posts that just says: i am a fan of the content and spirit of george lucas's star wars, esp. the works ca. 1999-2012. i disagree with and often dislike dave filoni's version and those following his interpretation. i'm not interested in being told, again and again, about the various ways in which their work subtly undermines the jedi order, as if their opinions erase the version of star wars that i know and love. like please make your own posts to talk about that! but somehow i know that any sort of disclaimer would not stop the arguments. it will never end until all parties agree they don't even agree about the meaning of certain fundamental words.

OKAY HC TIME HEHE:
- ghost has soft shoulders, soapgaz love it
- gaz has specific music if he wants to listen to something while he sleeps, soap can sleep to anything so they always share earbuds
- ghost listens to whatever shuffle puts on
- soap always takes up the most space + needs to cuddle SOMETHING
- ghost tries to stay awake & alert (book in hand, 1 earbud out) but he gets too cozy btwn them
- as the big strong boyfriend, ghost knows he should be looking out for them, he always gets this crushing anxiety about being unable to protect his team and his loved ones. With Soapgaz tho, he knows that his srgs are some of the most capable ppl, that can hold their own (and even protect him too) so when his eyes get heavy, for once in his life he feels comfortable just sleeping
